Though a girls night movie can really be anything, I've compiled a list of chick flicks to check out. The list is only compiled of movies I've seen (and as I've admitted, I'm terrible at seeing movies) but there are definitely some more that I want to check out (Bridesmaids, The Vow, etc)! This list isnt in an ranked order.
1. Letters to Juliet
While on a pre-wedding trip to Italy, Sofie comes across a letter written years ago to 'Juliet'. Deciding to write back, she soon comes face to face with it's author, Claire, and her smarmy grandson Charlie. In search for Claires lost love, the trio find themselves journeying through the winding roads of the country, much to Charlie's reluctance. As the venture unfolds, Sofie learns about herself and what it means to chase your destiney.
2. Dear John
Soldier John Tyree is on leave in his hometown when he runs into the beautiful and vibrant Savannah on the beach. From that moment they are inseperable, at least for the two weeks before John has to return to the army. While seperated by miles, the two communicate through letters making sure their love endures for the year they must spend apart. However, things don't always go according to plan. When September 11 strikes, John is determined to extend his service and Savannah finds herself with a decision that will change the lives around her forever. A beautiful story of undying love, sacrifice, family, devotion, and the turbulence of life based on the best selling book by Nicholas Sparks.
3. Step Up
When Mischif maker Tyler breaks into the local school for the arts, he lands himself several hours of community service. It's there, while sweeping and cleaning that he meets Norah; determined, devoted and minus a rehearsal partner for the upcoming senior showcase. The showcase is very important to Norah and without any suitable replacement she's forced to enlist the help of Tyler for the time being. But when things go from tough to tougher, Tyler must decide how badly he's willing to fight for something he wants for the first time in his life.
4. 13 Going on 30
Jenna makes a wish on her 13th birthday. She's tired of adolesence and wants to be treated like an adult. When she wakes up with the body of a 30 year old in what feels like a completely different life, she realizes her wishes have come true. However, Jenna soon discoveres that this grown up version of herself isn't exactly someone that she likes. Jenna desperately misses her old life, especially her ex best friend Matt, but can she go back?
5. The Devil Wears Prada
In the fast world of fashion you better have a strong backbone and the ability to keep up. Otherwise you'll be eaten alive (and then spat back out to avoid the extra colorie intake). Though not her dream job, wannabe journalist Andy lands a position at a top fashion magazine under bosszilla herself. It's difficult to please Miranda but Andy plunges headfirst, putting her social life at risk. But when push comes to shove, Andy is forced to decide who she really is. Her new life of designer labels, elite Paris events and a particularly handsome author? Or her old life with a boyfriend shes growing apart from, on the job hunt once more, and no glitz in sight?
6. Definitely, Maybe

Spanning years, he reflects upon his choices with some surprising insight from his daughter.
7. The Proposal
When an in command boss is faced with deportation back to Canada, she blackmails her hard-working assistant to marry her for the time being. When this raises suspicion, she travels with him to his hometown in Alaska and meets all of his family. These arent her usual surroundings and soon she must decide what comes first: All that shes worked so hard for or the feelings of people she's barely spent a weekend with.
8. Bride Wars
Best friends are forever. Except for when a mix up has them both getting married at the Plaza on the same day. One must change their date, but who? As they struggle to decide who 'wins' the date, their friendship quickly deteriorates, each finding she'd do unimaginable things to the person who's had her back for most of her life.
9. How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days
Andie is trying to write a magazine article about all the things women can do to drive men away. She decides to take on the experiment by meeting a guy and getting him to break up with her in a 10 day period. Said target is ladies man Benjamin, whom, has just made a bet that he can keep a girl for 10 ten days. Without knowing eachothers secret agendas, each is in for a wild ride.
10. Legally Blonde
After being dumped by her boyfriend, Elle Woods constructs the perfect plan to get him back. It starts with getting into Harvard, but Elle doesnt know the first thing about the law. Getting in on looks alone, Elle finds herself drowning in a world where she clearly doesnt belong.
11. Miss Congeniality
When the Miss USA pagent is threatened, FBI agent 'Gracie' goes under cover as one of the contestants. In an unfamiliar world she struggles to keep her cover, keep up with the demmands of the job, and to catch the culprit before it's too late.
12. All About Steve
After a blind date set up by her mother, a young women chases after her date who insincerely insists 'I have to go work, wish you could be there!' Hilarious and heartwarming.
13. Confessions of a Shopaholic
What happens when a shoppaholic finds herself flat broke?
14. A Leauge of Their Own
When the men are off at war, the women form a baseball team and compete to beat their rivals.
15. The Princess Diaries 2
Princess Mia is forced with a horrible choice; agree to an arranged marrige or be forced to abdicate the throne, ending her families reign. But what seemed difficult becomes even more so when a duke has his eyes on the prize for his grandson. You don't really have to see the first one to understand the second.
16. Mean Girls
Classic teen drama. When the new girl at school arrives the A-list clique, 'The plastics', take her in. It's a completely different world for Cady as she tries to follow the groups specific rules (such as hair up only one day a week). But things take a turn for the worse when Cady falls for the ex of one of her new groupmates.
17. Mona Lisa Smile
Katherine Watson, a professor intent on experiencing life and breaking from tradition finds herself teaching art history at Wellesley. Though the women are highly intellegent, they are groomed to be perfect house wives. Many even drop out once they've been married. For Katherine, there is so much more than sitting at home wasting your brain away. Loved by many, hated and challenged by others, she makes a definite difference in the lives of those around her.
18. My Big Fat Greek Wedding
Following the account of the very Greek Toula and her very greek family as she meets a man and plans for her wedding.
19. Bridget Jones's Diary
Bridget is a Brittish women with a plan of self improvement for the upcoming year. Among her resolutions is a goal to find and experience love. Her daily interactions, hilarious, awkward, unfortunate, joyous, are reccorded in her diary.
20. Fools Gold
Fin and Tess have filed for divorce. However, when their paths cross again they find themselves working together on a hobby they once enthusiastically shared. Treasure hunting. Fin reminds Tess of her sense of adventure and with others drawn into the mix and lives on the line, it's going to be a bumpy ride.

Two strangers decide to swap houses in order to take a break from the challenges and routines of their everyday lives. However, what was supposed to be a brief refresher turns out to have an even greater impact than what theyd anticipated.

Following the extravangant life of Carrie Bradshaw, the group of friends stay true to eachother while surviving the triumphs and turmoils of life in New York City.
25. The Wedding Planner
Mary is at the top of the game when it comes to planning weddings. When she falls for a doctor who saves her from being run over in the street shes absolutely smitten. At least until she finds out he's the groom of one of her new clients. Determined to be the picture of professional, Mary tries to deliver the best wedding shes ever been apart of.
26. Charlie's Angels
A kick-butt classic based on the hit TV series, these angels will stop at nothing to keep evil at bay. And to stay true to eachother when times get tough.
27. Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants
Based on the book of the same title, 4 teen bestfriends are faced with a summer apart. However, before they are forced to seperate, they find a pair of pants that miraculously fits each one of them. They decide to make the pants into a sort of record in order to stay in touch over the summer. Each girl will have a turn in the rotation of the pants and get to write a memory on them to be read by the others.
28. The Notebook
Noah and Ally fall hopelessly in love. But to their families, it just wasnt meant to be. Already engaged to a man of high status, Ally's family cringes at the thought of her spending eternity with a poor man.
29. Coyote Ugly
Violet is a shy aspiring song writter who finds herself working at a bar in New York. But this isnt your typical bar. The strong headed owner and her all female staff of 'Coyotes' serve beer and sass, not above using their sex appeal to make money. Unsure, Violet is pulled in with a make it or break it condition. 30. Sweet Home Alabama
Melanie has left her old life in Alabama behind. She's rebuilt herself as a socialite in New York City and is even engaged to the Mayor's son. But there's a problem. Melanie is still married to the husband in Alabama she split from years ago. When she returns home to get a divorce and tell her parents about her new engagement, things get a bit rocky.
